Síðastliðin ár hefur ferðamönnum fjölgað töluvert sem skapar atvinnu fyrir marga. Þórhildur Gísladóttir og Edda Mac hafa unnið á Upplýsingamiðstöðvum undanfarin ár og starf þeirra felst meðal annars í að taka á móti skemmtiferðaskipum á Skarfabakka í Reykjavík.
More and more tourists have been coming to Iceland over the past few years which creates lots of jobs for Icelanders. Þórhildur Gísladóttir and Edda Mac have been working at tourist information centers and their job, amongst others, is welcoming tourists from the cruise ships which take shore at Skarfabakki in Reykjavík.
